Narmadalaya is the story of Bharati Thakur who has devoted her life for helping the tribal people displaced on account of huge dams built on the River Narmada. Without imposing grand ideas of development, Bharati determined the nature of local problems and then found solutions to those problems. Educating the children, she believes, is the real solution to the development of the tribal people. Her source of strength is the trio - Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhans and Maa Sharda.
