Of the people, by the people...

Of the People, by the people … depicts the journey of Indian environmental and social activist, S.R. Hiremath, and the organization he founded Samaja Parivarthana Samudaya (SPS) (Community for Social Change), for protecting the rights of tribal and rural poor over natural resources, and the empowerment of Panchayat institutions. With a grant from MSSO in partnership with CIDA, SPS built a training and resource center in order to train new activists and continue the peoples’ movement.
