Dawn of Hope

Dawn of Hope is the story of Nileema Mishra, the 2011 winner of the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay award, dubbed as the Nobel Prize of Asia. “Helping everyone to become a happy and content human being” was Nileema’s dream; now it is a reality in Bahadarpur Village. Without imposing grand ideas of development, Nileema determined the nature of local problems and then found solutions to those problems. She invoked the inborn strength of women that lay dormant for years. She created an ideal role model of an economically self-sufficient village as envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi.
